Example sentences with denemek

Common mistakes with denemek

  • Incorrect: deneyorumdeniyorum

Before -yor the final e of dene- changes to a narrow vowel: deniyorum. In other tenses it stays: denedim, deneyeceğim. Learn the rule →

  • dener

Vowel stems simply add -r in the aorist: dener, denerim. Don't mix up dener (habit: "he/she tries") with deniyor (right now: "he/she is trying"). Learn the rule →

  • Incorrect: denemezimdenemem

The negative aorist drops its -z in the first person: denemem ("I do not try"), denemeyiz — but denemez, denemezsin. Learn the rule →
