50 Turkish Survival Phrases: Printable Travel Cheat Sheet

Fold this sheet into your passport. It collects the 50 Turkish phrases visitors use most, grouped by situation so you can find the right one quickly: greetings and politeness, when you don't understand, getting around, eating and drinking, shopping, at the hotel and in an emergency.

Turkish spelling is phonetic, so once you know the seven letters that differ from English (c, ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, ü) you can read every phrase aloud correctly. The pronunciation key at the top of the sheet covers them. For audio, open the matching flashcard decks on TurkLogic and press the speaker button on any card.

Tip: choose "Save as PDF" as the printer to keep a copy on your phone or tablet.
