Ayakkabı Declension: Turkish Cases of 'shoe'

ayakkabı means “shoe”. Its last vowel is ı, so 2-way suffixes use a (ayakkabılar) and 4-way suffixes use ı (ayakkabının). Because it ends in a vowel, vowel-initial suffixes need a buffer letter: ayakkabıyı, ayakkabının, ayakkabısı.
