A2 Turkish Core Vocabulary: 100 Words for Daily Life
At A2 you stop collecting nouns and start building sentences that describe errands, plans and opinions. This deck focuses on exactly that: verbs for paying, moving house, forgetting and remembering; adjectives you use to complain about a hotel room or praise a café; and the short adverbs and conjunctions such as henüz, artık, zaten and çünkü that glue clauses together.
Several cards carry a note about the case a verb takes (inanmak + dative, korkmak + ablative). Learning the case together with the verb from the start saves you from one of the most common A2 mistakes: translating English prepositions word for word.

turklogic-a2-core-100-anki.txtwith the button on the left. - Open Anki on your computer (2.1.55 or newer) and choose File › Import.
- Select the file. Anki reads the header lines automatically: tab separator, plain text, five columns, tags in column 5 and the deck TurkLogic::A2 Core 100.

A2 Core 100 flashcards: FAQ
Should I finish the A1 deck before starting A2?
It helps to recognise most A1 cards first, because the A2 example sentences reuse that vocabulary. You don't need perfect recall: once the A1 deck shows mostly cards in the higher boxes, start adding 5 to 10 A2 cards a day.
Why do some verbs in this deck mention a case?
Turkish verbs choose the case of their object, and it often differs from English. You believe someone with the dative (sana inanıyorum), fear something with the ablative (köpeklerden korkuyorum) and get on a bus with the dative (otobüse binmek). The notes flag these so you learn the pair together.
How do I study the A2 Core 100 flashcards?
Press the card (or Space) to see the answer, then choose Know or Again. Known cards move up through five Leitner boxes and come back after 1, 3, 7 and 21 days; missed cards return to box 1 and reappear a few cards later. Your progress is saved in this browser, and you can switch between TR → EN and EN → TR at any time.
Can I use the A2 Core 100 deck in Anki?
Yes. Use "Download for Anki" to get a tab-separated import file with all 100 cards, then choose File › Import in Anki. The file's header lines set the separator, columns, tags and deck name for you. A CSV version is also available for spreadsheets and other flashcard apps.
