Pencere Declension: Turkish Cases of 'window'

pencere means “window”. Its last vowel is e, so 2-way suffixes use e (pencereler) and 4-way suffixes use i (pencerenin). Because it ends in a vowel, vowel-initial suffixes need a buffer letter: pencereyi, pencerenin, penceresi.
