Halı Declension: Turkish Cases of 'carpet'

halı means “carpet”. Its last vowel is ı, so 2-way suffixes use a (halılar) and 4-way suffixes use ı (halının). Because it ends in a vowel, vowel-initial suffixes need a buffer letter: halıyı, halının, halısı.
